Lustgarten means Pleasure Garden, but in my opinion it's doubtful pleasure to be surrounded by crowds of tourists. Located in the middle of Museum Island, so you'll visit it at least once anyway.

Really nice park/plaza. Lots of ppl were just sitting and hanging out here. Very pretty. Great place for photos.

Lovely place to seat on the grass and observe best Berlin architecture masterpieces. The Berliner Dom, Museum Island and TV Tower are nearby, so it’s great place to take a rest after long walk.

The area in front of the Altes Museum and Berliner Dom is green, refreshing and offers picturesque views. Ongoing palace instruction rising on the area of destroyed Former DDR Parlament is a shame.
